when I imbibe

w/ limbs akimbo

two ham-fisted

feet blundering

gawkily jutting

stiff-as-boards

hips & shoulders

& hen-necked

pecking to the

measure of bass

& drums

I only balter

when I imbibe

otherwise

I merely walk a

a basic straight

line but

when I imbibe

every movement

is inelegant

& terse

malapropos &

untoward

only

when I imbibe

I balter
